Remodeling your church kitchen can be a cost-efficient way to improve the facility.  Thorough planning should occur beforehand to avoid potentially costly and dangerous mistakes.  When embarking on the remodeling process, you should consider the six areas of importance discussed in the article "Remodeling Church or Community Kitchens":

  • Define how the kitchen is used
  • Consider general layout and design principles
  • Establish a budget
  • Draw a draft layout
  • Discuss project with contractor or builder
  • Monitor construction

Please consult your state specific guidelines for your remodeling project.  Proper planning will aid in making the remodeling process a success.
